Individuals Collection Exhibition of Master Huang Yongyu

For the individuals collection exhibition of Master Huang Yongyu, Relicase tailored the showcases based on the character and position of his works. Mr. Huang expressed it was positive cooperation, especially on the protection of the painting paper.

Internationally acclaimed Chinese art master Huang Yongyu is known for his woodblock prints, ink paintings and literary works. A multi-talented man, Huang has published poems, essays, novels, screenplays and photo albums. A prolific carver of wooden engravings, he has held exhibitions in China, Hong Kong, Australia, Germany and Italy. Huang’s ink works are often scenes of wildlife, foliage, or human figures. Born in 1924 in Fenghuang, China, he never attended a regular school, but instead studied literature and art on his own. Perhaps this is why he shows such initiative and vitality in his works without any set pattern.

Brunei Islamic Museum

For the Brunei Islamic Museum, Relicase had been appointed as the museum display cases supplier to install showcase and received great approval from the client.

Relicase have secured the prestigious Balai Pameran Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (BPIS) project, also known as the Brunei Islamic Museum. Relicase have been appointed as the Museum Display Cases to construct and install the new Museum.

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam laid the foundation for the new Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Islamic Exhibition Gallery building, dedicating this museum to house his personal collection of artifacts, manuscripts and Korans.

The new Museum will create nine Islamic exhibition galleries and related ancillary areas, which are designed by exhibition designers Jasper Jacob Associates. The Museum will be a truly international Islamic heritage centre that will continue to build on and conserve its collections, be a research and educational facility and spread its findings to the Ummah and mankind.

Design and Art of Museum Showcase

Showcases are the guardians of cultural relics in the museum and bridges between the cultural relics and the audience. It is a vital link in the museum’s display of artistic appeal and personality. Therefore, there are several aspects that should be dealt with in the design of a showcase: the relationship between humans and cultural relics, the relationship between showcases and the environment, and the relationship between cultural relics and the environment.

We know that museum showcase are used in places where it is necessary to showcase treasures. It is very important to us. Museum showcase are an indispensable part of the museum. Its design should be combined with the museum’s experience and design.

Museum display cases include main structure materials. According to the characteristics of dimensions, formulate a design scheme that meets the user experience, so that more humanized museum showcase products can be produced.

Museum showcase design not only needs to protect the cultural relics, also incorporates the characteristics of the museum and integrates into the main body of the museum showcase. Museum showcases play an important role. We are guardians of cultural relics and creators of museums.

China National Arts & Crafts Museum

The National Art Museum of China is located on 1 Wusi Ave, Dongcheng District of Beijing. It is one of the largest art museums in China. The museum shows contemporary Chinese craftsmanship is as good today as it was during the Tang Dynasty, particularly large chunks of carved jade and ceramic statues of arhats.

Exhibits include jade ware, stone and wood sculptures, earthenware, lacquer ware, metal ware, embroidery, and ethnic folk art. Four of the most well known pieces are exquisite jade carvings, considered “the four great national treasures”. They are: The Marvelous Spectacle at Mount Tai, Nine Dragons Playing in the Sea, The Incense Burner, and The Flower Basket.

Relicase also considered its character on design to highlight the exhibit. Standing museum showcase was most used in this project.

Arthur M. Sackler Museum of Art and Archaeology at Peking University

Arthur M. Sackler Museum of Art and Archaeology at Peking University is located in the famous West Gate of prestigious Peking University. Covering an area of 2,000 square meters, the collections in the museum includes stoneware, bronze ware, oracle bone, pottery, chinaware, painting and calligraphy and inscription rubbing etc.

The museum is actively committed to providing specimens and the conditions of practice teaching for those who learns Chinese archaeology and museology, to showing achievements of Chinese archaeology to the society, to popularizing knowledge of archaeology and carrying forward the Chinese traditional culture. Since opening to the pubilc, it has warmly received large amount of tourists from home and abroad and carry forward Chinese traditional culture.
