Classical Paintings of Ancient China Exhibition

For the Classical Paintings of Ancient China Exhibition, Relicase designed wall display cases, protected the classical painting, enhanced display effect.

It is the first time since the re-opening of the National Museum of China that the Classical Painting of Ancient China exhibition is on display. All items in this exhibition are ancient classical painting, most of them are rectangular.

The classical painting collection at the National Museum of China covers a wide range of subjects and styles. Limited by the original exhibition space, most of them have not been shown to the public until now. In this exhibition, featuring two of the most celebrated pieces in the collection: Qianlong Emperor’s Southern Inspection Tour and Strange Tales of Liaozhai.

Qianlong Emperor’s Southern Inspection Tour is composed of 12 scrolls, which 4 of them are on display in this exhibition. These scrolls serve as a visual record that captures the social conditions and the landscapes during ‘the Golden Age of Kangxi and Qianlong Emperors’.

Strange Tales of Liaozhai is based on the classical Chinese tales written by Pu Songling. The themes of the tales combine folk attractiveness with literary significance. It is composed of wooden plates and colorful images on silk scroll.

Hong Kong Maritime Museum

For Hong Kong Maritime Museum project, Relicase Display collaborative work with the design company, showcases for its diversified collections, such as standing museum showcases, wall display cases, and niche display cases.

Hong Kong Maritime Museum, located at Central Pier 8, Hong Kong, serves to display the history of waterway transportation in the coastal area of South China and the role of Hong Kong in this history.

Relicase’s outstanding collaborative work with the design company made this fabulous museum project a dream come true. We responded actively to our clients’ special requirements to the design. The working experience gained by our design team, project management team and installation team in the other overseas projects significantly helped in the successful completion of this project.

All collections in the museum are related to ocean. It needed manifold showcases for its diversified collections, such as standing showcase, wall display cases, and niche display case. Our professional service earned us acclaim.

Yunnan Zhaotong Museum Display Cases Projects

Zhaotong Museum is a provincial-level comprehensive museum in Zhaotong city. It is a comprehensive museum integrating the exhibition, education, research and protection of cultural relics. It covers an area of 13400㎡, with the building area reaching 6500㎡, The museum has six display hall.

Mostly required for this project was free standing diplay cases and wall display cases. Relicase took different requirements of each kind of collection fully into the design scheme, and got high approval from the client.

Exhibition of Donations – National Museum of China

In the Friendly Communications & Historical Testimony – Exhibition of Gifts Presented to the Party and State Leaders in Diplomatic Activities, 611 gifts received by Party and State leaders at diplomatic events since the foundation of New China were exhibited. They were chosen for display based on their historical significance and high art value. Most of the gifts were exhibited for the first time.

This project was mainly on Wall display cases and Table top display cases. For best visual effect, Relicase took elaborate design on illumination.

Relicase designed multi-bay display cases for the exhibition. An LED light bar is hidden beneath each shelf. The height and location of the shelves allow for flexible adjustment, mounting and removal. We applied large hinged doors to suit the exhibits and allow easy staff access.
